Really dislike being sent a 3D printed part. No idea what the material is used and therefore what’s the resistance to heat or the sensitivity to humidity. Living in Texas those are important information.
Also the screw is threaded directly into the plastic, which means that if you have to access the rail on a regular basis, that part of going to be destroyed. A threaded insert would have been useful there.
Also the countersunk, well, it’s not and the screw does not sit flush and lightly protrude.

I resisted buying rail caps. I really did. But when I saw Troy's video, and realized that they would make my Packout sing... I BOUGHT THEM.

You know what? I really like them. Yep. you drill out the little plastic tab (buh bye!) and regret it... for a microsecond. But then you slide the aluminum rail out, swap the caps, do the install... and VOILA! You now have options.

Awesome part to repair the broken rail cap on the pack out. Actually a more robust and sturdier design than the original design. Fast delivery and easy to install.
