Overall, the kit is nice, complete, and well thought out. I would definitely recommend it.
Install was very straight forward. Installs fairly quickly, and there were no major challenges putting it all in. I used tape and paste type thread sealant, and everything seems to be all sealed nicely, so far. Surprisingly, the tank only took 1 minute to fill the first time. I was expecting longer! I used the nylock nuts from the ARB hardware with the bolts of the Viair tank hardware for security. Luckily they are the same thread. Also a little blue Loctite on the compressor for good luck since it is hidden behind the spare. ARB quick connect fit nicely in the rear bumper with the included bulkhead fitting. When I install an air horn in the grille, I think I'll add another ARB quick connect in the front bumper off that air line. It's a pretty nice piece.
One curious note. There is no high pressure release valve at the tank included in the kit. I'm not sure if there is one built in the the brushless ARB compressor tank? I may ad one in the future.
The only bad: (the reason for 4 stars)
Like one other review noted, the compressor and it's box came a bit beat up and everything inside was floating around loose. I know the compressor is mounted out of sight, but it sucks that a brand new expensive compressor came beat up because of lack of packing material. The filter covers popped off and the filters were floating in the box. Luckily they didn't break. The anodizing on one side of the compressor was dinged and scratched up from the no packing issue. Some of the plastic harness connectors were broken, but luckily they were the ones that get cut off.
Overall the install went smoothly. I was able to complete the project in a couple of hours by myself in the driveway.
Good:
It was great to have a complete kit without having to chase major components down.
Suggestions:
The kit was complete with only a couple of items needing to be clarified in the installation instructions
1. There are only two black wires on the wiring harness rather than three as stated in the instructions.
2. It should be noted to use the two ring terminals from the wiring harness to connect the black wires to the frame.
3: Include a full picture of the compressor and tank installed for reference. I believe this would be helpful.
4. Include a filter relocation kit. It’s going to be difficult to access in the future.
5. Include a drain valve relocation kit. It’s going to be difficult to access in the future.
6. The bolts securing the tank are not 1/2”. I don’t remember what they are but definitely not 1/2”.
Bad:
1. The ARB brushless air compressor box was in rough shape inside and out. It appeared to have been taped closed several times. One of the filter covers was laying on top of the packing. The circular filters were in the bottom of the box with no packaging at all.
Order and delivery process was easy and without any hiccups! Haven’t installed my kit yet but don’t anticipate any issues very clear instructions!

Have you been looking to install the new ARB "Brushless" twin air compressor on your 2017-2026 Ford Super Duty truck?
If you own one of these trucks you know there is no place to mount the twin ARB compressor under the hood, Ford likes to use every square inch of space available, the brushless compressor runs very hot and is noisy compared to the previous design, for these reasons we are mounting the brushless compressor and 2.5 gallon air tank above the rear spare tire.
This kit is 100% complete with very detailed installation instructions. We are replacing the ARB wiring with ~20 feet of 6 gauge marine grade wiring is cut to length, properly crimped terminals, heat shrink tubing installed, 2.5 gallon air tank to reduce exhaust temperatures, 80 amp fuse breaker, ARB air coupler and dust cover, powdercoated 3/16" thick steel brackets, 25 foot airline, fittings, hoses, couplers, bulk head fitting, drain valve and 8 feet of 1/4" air line.
The ARB air coupler and dust cover can be positioned in several locations to accommodate your preferences. This kit also comes with a brass bulkhead fitting, enabling you to mount the air coupler on materials thicker than 1/8".
Trucks these days are very expensive and we understand the value of time. We did not want to create a half finished kit that required the customer to spend half the day driving around sourcing parts to finish out this product. This kit can be installed by the average person in their garage with basic hand tools. Installation time will take ~3.5 hours and utilizes the factory up fitter switches for operation.
There are a total of 2 holes that need to be drilled into the spare tire mounting plate cross member and 3 self tapping bolts. In addition (4) ring terminal will need to be crimped with a basic hand crimper. Other than that, basic hand tools are required for installation.
This kit will is 100% complete with the exception of the ARB brushless twin air compressor PN CKBLTA12, excluding the compressor no additional sourcing of parts is required for installation.
NOTE: This kit will only work with the brushless ARB compressor, not the older design brushed compressor.
